Skillset
Design a modular daily planner that can helps adults with ADHD to stay focused and planning their time flexibly in different occasion.

What is ADHD :
ADHD ( Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder ) is a neurodevelopmental disease that can influence how a person focuses, impulse and manage emotion. There are three types of ADHD : Inattentive Type, Hyperactive-Impulsive Type and Combined Type.

Inattentiveness
-
Hard to stay focus
-
Frequently loosing items and appearing forgetful
-
Unable to stick to task that are time-consuming
Hyperactivity
-
Excessive talking
-
Excessive Physical movement
Impulsiveness
-
Acting without thinking
-
Interrupting conversations

Existing
Product
Existing products each solve a specific problem such as time management, noise control, or stress relief. However, they often focus on a single function and lack integration, portability, or flexibility for everyday use.

Prototypes
These early prototypes explore tactile movement and simple interactions.
By testing rotation, resistance, and repetitive actions, I studied how physical engagement can support focus and emotional regulation.
Phase 1 – Fidget & Interaction Studies
Phase 2 – Wearable & Portable Studies
This stage explored how Syncro could function as a wearable and portable device. The prototypes tested on-body scale, carryability, and simple visual guidance.
Minimal text and clear layout were used to reduce distraction while supporting focus.
This stage explored how different modes transition within one system. The prototypes tested modular switching, refined simplified fidget features, and further developed the overall form.
Phase 3 – System Integration
Final Phase – Integrated Form & Features
This phase focused on refining the overall form and simplifying the appearance, while integrating key features developed in earlier stages.

USER TEST
User testing focused on how tactile interaction and visual cues affected attention and distraction. Both wearable and stationary modes were explored to see how comfortable and intuitive the system felt in real use. Feedback helped me simplify features and make the interaction clearer and more natural.
